I saw the video of Trump being "shot". That's not a gunshot. More like a mosquito bite and you can see it's staged. Every American election period it's a circus, now it's a circus with just clowns.

I think a better argument is that you don't fire live rounds at a candidate you want to win.
If it was a staged act then it was high risk and insane that they would let people in the crowd die.
