MyBroadband contacted FNB for comment, and the bank explained that its virtual card system’s rotating CVV does not come into play when using digital wallets.
MyBroadband contacted FNB for comment, but it did not provide feedback by publication.

15 min of fame, by falling for a phishing scam?
I mean I do empathize with the guy, don't get me wrong,

but when I was robbed, I replaced all my bank cards, deleted and redid all my Virtual cards, and even went so far as changing all my passwords to all my main accounts,
can it be somebody will still rob me? absolutely, but one needs to be awake at all times and act QUICKLY when it happens.

I understand the loss here, and its not nice.

But... proof of concept that requires you actively ignore security warnings and procedures - is it a proof of concept? can we stretch it to that name...?

This is low even for MYBB, You guys really posted this article and to top it off try to defame FNB over this. The dumbass front-end engineering gave his details away and gave several approvals to FNB for all these transactions.

I am disgusted. This has absolutely nothing to do with FNB.

Don’t use products if you don’t understand how they work.

Yap. The rest of you will suffer because of one man’s stupidity.

Imagine being this guys employer and then reading this. I would be worried if I had the right employee if I were them. What a dumbass.
Probably signs in to work on unsecured WiFi too, I hope he does not work at my company.
