"Hacking" -- NONSENSE

Swartz was charged with using the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s computer networks to steal more than 4 million articles from JSTOR, an online archive and journal distribution service.
He faced a maximum sentence of 31 years if convicted
This is a load of nonsense
More carp from the land of the (not so) brave and the (definitely not) free
ie
The Disunited Police States of America

Most Universities have FREE access to JSTOR articles
ie
IF you are a registered student / academic using the intranet ( university allocated IP range ) you can download how many and whatever journal articles you want.

SO
Please tell me how you can "steal" journal articles that are freely available ??????

In any case students get special copyright dispensation !!!!!!

I shudder at the ignorance of the locpop
