Hackers can remotely hijack the Jeep Cherokee

New excuse for an insurance claim - Hackers took over my car and caused the accident!
 
I can see it now. Hack the vehicle, park it at a *** angle, post pics in the Bad Parking thread.
 
Chrysler has released a patch for the vulnerability on its website which Wired said can be installed via USB drive, or by a dealership.

Many people can't maintain their own PC's and get pawned, website owners don't manage their websites and get hacked due to never updating ...

Okay, no skin off my back.

But if these dudes now have hackable software in their vehicle that could affect their brakes, driving on the same road my wife/my son/my daughter/ me is driving on ... :sick:
