All honesty I dont see it happening - would be nice though...

Imagine this... you are a hard working man/woman... had a tough day at work, worked late till 20h, they wife/husband keeps nagging you at home, the children are on holiday and very busy and loud... what should you do? You can't even go out for a drink because everything is closed! You can't go to a buddy and drink there because his wife/husband will call your other half...

We need places to drink after 21h... we need to drink till the sunrises! It is what we do... well, students need it, they can make it law everywhere except in Stellies!!

How can you support it? Why just not ban alcohol? Forcing bars to close earlier just forces people to drink faster or start earlier. It won't reduce the number of drunk people on the roads, all it will do is get drunk people on the roads much earlier...

Or people are going to house parties after the bar closes, and irritate the people living around them... This is not a solution, it will just cause more problems...

I completely agree with this statement, albeit I also agree with teh by-law.

I would much rather have the drunken idiots at a bar, pub, NC, etc. than at their homes. As I am pretty sure it would really piss off a tonne of people getting woken up by these thought impaired people at 3 A.M pumping their music and dancing naked in the street.

I say let them get sloshed in designated areas where they can have fun and so on...I also highly doubt that by making them all go home at 21:00 this will keep them off the roads in the early hours of the morning when they are
p1ssed and have run out of livations

Maybe there should be some sort of booze coupons. Let people drink whenever they like without becoming paralatic

Hmmm if this does happen I it will have its pros and cons obviously but people will just turn their cars into car bars after the club stops selling alcohol ?

You know what about the people who just want to go out and get 1 beer while watching the match at the local pub?

This law wont stop people from drinking and could provoke alcohol being consumed in a lot larger manner.

Thats what I think?
