Without being close to the device, it is very difficult to tell the difference between iPhones and in the US Apple has an over 50% market share.

IQ has nothing to do with it, but it does show that you seem to lack it as you can't interpret the results.

The article title is misleading as usual. Of course they know what phone they bought.

The device is placed in a lineup of other phones from the same manufacturer and they were asked to identify their model. I suspect many locals would also fail under those conditions...

I have heard plenty of them say iPhone for every smartphone they encounter. Kleenex, Xerox, Hoover, Google, iPhone...

In truth those users are not particularly discerning.

I never said you were dumb, I said you failed to use your intelligence there. Everyone has dumb moments.

You don't know how the study was done properly, would have to check up on it, but most iPhones are pretty much the same for multiple generations without much of a difference, you can't really tell sizes if they're not directly next to each other, etc.

Can you tell the difference between e.g. The 6s and the 7 with a quick look? I definitely can't.
 
Have an iPhone, would need to go into device info to tell you what model it is. Had it for 3 years, it's a phone does what I need it to do. Guess I just can't be arsed when it comes to smartphones.

Yeah I don't care much for iphones so I wouldn't know. All the phones I've had I could easily identify though. And I'm not really big into phones anymore like I was in the past.

Keep telling you that.This test is maybe not the best indicator of US stupid level but there's plenty of "dumb questions Americans can't answer" tube videos. How many are there of SA'ns?

There's a huge difference between being uneducated and stupid. Most Americans are just plain stupid,even their sport is designed for the short attention life span.

Only in the US you get offered free hugs if your political party lost an election.

True. Just as i couldn't be bothered what groundbreaking new firmware my washing machine is running on.
 
That is because they are all the same.

I have a R1800 Xiaomi Note 4 and people still ask me if it is a Samsung.... :ROFL:
