So be it Ham A$$
Israel will wipe you out, I think it is about time for Israel to absolutely destroy Hamas once and for all. Bring stability to the region.

Gaza City - Hamas vowed on Wednesday to fight "until the last breath" if Israel makes good on its threat to send ground forces into the Islamists' Gaza stronghold, which it has bombarded for five days.

"We in Hamas are ready for all scenarios and we will fight until the last breath," senior official Mushir al-Masri told AFP.

"Israel will embark on a veritable adventure if it decides to invade Gaza. We have prepared surprises for them," he vowed.

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni justified Israel's rejection of a truce in the fighting in Gaza because the humanitarian situation is not dire

The Red Cross said a breadline queue in driving rain at the only bakery in a refugee camp at Gaza's Jabalya stretched back 300 metres (yards) on Wednesday.

I suppose the "humanitarian situation" in Auschwitz wasn't that "dire" by that reasoning.

I think Israel is in a no win situation here. I dont believe they will be able to totally eliminate hamas nor the rocket attacks into Israel. When truce/ceasefire does come it will look like a defeat as the goals that Israel has it itself will not be seen to be met.

In order to achieve these goals, Israel will have to totally bomb and destroy the whole of gaza, will have to send in troops and take over the whole area. This will of course involve huge losses of life. Since Israel will never ever win a public opinion (global) war, such an incursion will basically destroy any credibility that Israel may currently have. I just cannot see away that Isreal can escape this situation without being "defeated" so to speak, even if one views their current action as being justified.

Maybe this is why Israel is barring Journalists from Gaza, oh wait... it's the 'security' threat Israel says.

I guess these surprises are hidden amongst your children and woman and you won't give a **** if they get 'surprised' by it as you are blinded by your hate.

Maybe, maybe not. But Israel is hardly a picture of wide-eyed love and care.

What I've found funny these last couple days since the bombing started is that analysts have described Livni as being a moderate but her words have basically been that of a warmonger. The only reason Hamas was raining down rockets on Israeli towns was because they had imposed a blockade on Gaza which has meant that the government could not function properly and supplies were cut off from the citizens.

The rockets began after Israel broke the truce with Hamas by entering Gaza and killing those 'suspected' of tunneling... but western media ignore this little known fact.

More propaganda?

I have the luxury of being able to watch Fox News and those guys were salivating at the prospect of the IDF going into Gaza with tanks and ground troops to confront the militants ...I've never seen such warmongering propaganda from a news organisation.

The blockade hasn't been that successful considering the amount of rockets and the improved capabilities of these rockets from Iran now in Hamarse possesion.

Its the same as saying all white people are racist and all Jews tightfisted...You can't generalise a people like that. It might be true that Hamas' charter calls for the destruction of Israel which will never happen considering the disproportionate firepower at the disposal of the Jewish state.

Reasonable freedom fighters as usual. Of course that's if they haven't been killed because they're used as human shields

See, you're a classic WUM. I'd like to send you off to Israel so you can fight...we don't need more chickenhawks- they were all slaughtered at the polls in 2006.

Seems Obamasiah is one too lol

No country in the world would allow this type of onslaught against its citizens. As President-elect Barack Obama said during his visit to the rocket-battered town of Sderot five months ago, "If someone was sending rockets into my house where my two daughters sleep at night, I would do everything to stop that, and would expect Israel to do the same thing."
