Broken mine more than once, thanks to karate in my younger years.
Now I battle with a deviated-septum, and sinus problems. I battle to equalize when diving, and if i don't use a spray before diving, always end up with sinus headaches.

A ENT specialist wanted to operate, but my day had the op (also from karate), and it ended up being worse... he snores like you won't believe :D

Yeah mine is still abit skew but much better than it was(breathing is also better, less sinus), the bridge of my nose is lower more sunken now :( others wont notice but i do. I never snore before but right after the op i snored for a few nights, its fine now i dont snore anymore. The doc that did mine had lots of experience and i was suppose to get 2 ops one after the first healed but i never went back dont want to go through that again:sick:

I'm pleased with the results it could have been better but the doc is no plastic surgeon so he was just concerned with breathing and getting it growing properly.

I can live with the sinus problems. If i dive, 2 squirts if Illidian (sp?) sorts out my sinus, I also snort some sea water before the dive just in case :D

Broke mine 3 times, and now it's skew :(
X3 FTW.

I have also been the unlucky sod to break his nose 3 times. I think the biggest thing is the skewness and blood. Also a very good sign of a possible broken nose is when you cant breath through it. That is you were able to fully without any problem before.

The one time it was broken in Waterpolo and well it didnt bleed to much and the blue eyes were a no show but the swelling and breathing was laboured plus blood in the throat.

The other time similar, but heap loads more blood. "Then they shove plugs up it to stop it and you run back on the field" Stupid but then it got smashed again. Still no blue eyes.

A few surgeries later and I'm looking gorgeous :D

But if you are worried get it checked out by an ENT

Nope.

My maid managed to break my R1500 gemstone globe. :(
That's worse.
Clearly you have never broken a nose before. I can safefully say, I think a nose break is one of the most painfull things I have ever had. I broke my right leg once, left and right arm, and also my hand x2. It does not even come close to a nose break ;)

I think mine is broken :D

Don't laugh: A few nights ago, I wanted to hang a wooden ornament on the wall, so I was standing right underneath it to check if it is straight and then, well, errm, it slipped off the nail and hit me on the bridge of my nose.

If is is broken, would it by necessity cause a lot of pain?

Thanks to all the MDs :)
Eina! But... when I was about 10 or so, a brick fell on my nose
For some reason, it didn't hurt at all. Other than that, my nose is fine, though I had a glass smashed into my nose and scrape a piece of skin off. It was bleeding like water gushing from a tap, but again, not painful for some reason.
