Has anyone been able to hit a limit on Rain 5G?

Had a bunch of family over and used a considerably large amount of data, just wanted to know from others based on their experience.
PS - I never seem any slow down on streaming, downloads or torrents etc.

Wish my connection would allow that - think it is time to change to fiber, not that that is perfect - but I am getting fed up with RAIN afternoon / evening issues.

I think Rain said they don't implement limits/FUP? or did that change?

They won't throttle just yet, it will scare off new potential subscribers. Just give it some time

How is this possible without a connection which is a strong trait of Rain.

No. They use WIOCC and they have some issues in the evenings. I see the same on the GeForce Now server.

Well something is causing the afternoon/evening slow down issues - throttling fits, probably a few other causes, but FEKK it might help if one knew and understood what the issue was. Talking to the wall is more informative that RAIN.

Some evenings it is just okay, others like last night is just nothing, no go.

Emby server is in the UK, not certain, but think the file server is in France.

Such is life.

Yeah it's WIOCC. Cool Ideas also use them same issue during the evening peak even though Rain uses transit from JHB with WIOCC and CISP has a L2 service to London with them. Same issues.

Okay, such as it is, just especially annoyed as last night was champions league football. Too night as well. :(

Thanks.

I never had a cap issue or any limit at all. Although i only used half of that, but im sure there really is no fup for rain and worse case secenario if you do get throttled for some reason just reset your router. It wont affect the bill but restart the isp router usage.

Never checked, what our monthly usage is in RAIN 5G, but estimate, that we use 2 - 2.5 TB a month most months, but when asked to help out some family members, with s few series, it might go 4 - 4.5 TB never had a cap.
