Prior to Win 10 (the latest version), I used to be able to share and access data across Linux, OSX and Windows. For instance I would point all OS to a folder on the NTFS drive for Firefox. Of late it seems this is failing.
Let me talk specifically about Firefox cause this where I have most noticed it.
Laptop - Win10 and Linux
Profile on NTFS
On Win10, the only thing it knows is my sync account
The add ons are not loaded
When I boot into Linux, everyting s as I expect
iMac with Bootcamp
Profile on NTFS
OSX accesses it without a problem
edit - I just had to download a game all over again on steam (bootcamp - game on ntfs drive)
Win10 says FF running even if I have closed it in OSX
