Sometimes I think it would have been great if I'd mined 1 BTC back in 2010 when I first played around with the software.

But then I realise in practice I would have sold it in 2013 for $100. Or at the very latest in 2017 at $900.

The only scenario in which I realistically still have 1 BTC is where I lost my wallet. Which is even worse.

So then I feel better again.

Had crypto for a while now, it goes up, it goes down, but over time it still slowly goes up. These short term gains are nice, but Im not cashing out now and not for a while. Long term HODL. My 50 000th post.

Like @Baxteen that lost 34 bitcoins?

never sell all of any investment... just sell a bit to take the profits when they spike like this.

I say this after I sold all my Nvidia shares years ago (was forced to) and now look... yes I re-bought them back again a few years ago but still..... why no lambo?!?!?!?

yes, R527 rand worth. 😖 I dabbled and put in small amounts and always regret not putting in more cause made a few grand.
I bought the big dip and cashed out on the last high but oh now I wish I had just kept it until now, was about 2 years back I think.

but ah thats the risks, never had big lump sums to really make an impact and needed the cash.
The tiny amount left in cashed out now cause I'm broke

"Yes", have some close friends who keep benefiting, but to learn the trade they study the markets and US experts endlessly. No thanks

I purchased some ridiculous crypto about three years ago before everything tanked. It's the first time since then that the value is more than I put in 😅

Somewhat. Have some EC10 (EasyEquities) but of course it is weighed down by some of the rest.

Oh and small change in Luno and an offline wallet.

I have come to the conclusion, that BTC price is based on my trading patterns. When I buy, the price tanks, when I sell, the price skyrockets.

I only played around with crypto. Nothing serious. I no longer trade crypto.

There is rumour BTC will hit $200k
And theoretically it can hit $800k

At what number do we cash in @Snyper564 ?

I will be happy for $200k coz that is a free new Suzuki Supper Carry 1.2l
