A 62-year-old man was arrested in the Hartbeespoort Dam area on Thursday for illegal possession of unwrought platinum worth an estimated R800,000.

Orelio Capazario was arrested during an intelligence driven operation by the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation team.

I know they tend to overplay their hand when given too much leeway but I won't mind them being judge, jury and executioner in some instances.

But this also scares the bejesus out of me, perhaps knowing what doesn't make the news.

But yes, it would be appropriate sometimes when a pure criminal slips on the rail of a balcony in floor 22 while trying to slip away. (no, not the political one, rather what some not so friendly guys did from up north when a 16 yr old girl they locked up, plied with drugs and got hooked, failed to deliver on their investment by refusing to go hooking for them)
