Easiest to get it is HBO Nordic. But, and this is a big but, you need a credit card from one of the supported countries.

Hmmmmmmm How do you register for a verizon account without an account number?

You must have a friend or relative with a cable account in the US for this to work. I use my younger brothers comcast account. I even get live tv with it using the xfinity GO app on my fire tv.

I think the HBO streaming still requires a cable account but that will change this year...very exciting news.

Not if you take HBO Nordic.

What happened to the big BUT about having a Nordic credit card? The percentage of South Africans with access to one of these is so limited it makes HBO Nordic a non option. While I believe the new HBO Go offering will no longer require a cable account we still don't know what the restrictions will be on payment ie could possibly have a US credit card restriction.

True... We also don't know the price either. Hope it's not too bad

Likely only in April - and it's likely going to be more limited than the current go version.

hi all
there is a reputable sling provider in the states that you can now get hbo go , showtime anywhere, xfinity tv to go, watchespn etc for $30 pm

been using for 2 months with apple tv and so far awesome , dealt with these guys previously when renting a slingbox so they seem ok

pm me for details or google is your friend :)

You can always get a US iTunes account and buy vouchers through Wild Twig, that's what I generally do to get all the latest series etc.

It must be exhausting jumping through all these loops, waiting for stuff to suddenly just stop working.
