Those are great cables. I have tested them extensively with all kinds of equipment. Any long HDMI cable will be heavy. The shorter ones have smaller connectors and thinner cable.

Those cables from SpaceTV really are bargains, I also use a 15m one for my projector.

I just called there and was quoted R700 for a 15m HDMI cable. Someone's pulling a fast one :(

I found one at http://www.superiorvision.co.za for R450, but the LCD screen only flickered a bit after connecting it. I then got a 5m cable which worked. The salesman at SV thinks it might be a faulty cable, since 15m should still work fine. I'm assuming it's a 24AWG (thickness) and not the thinner 28AWG. They're replacing the cable and if this doesn't work, I'll swap it for a 10m cable and an HDMI extender device like this http://www.hdcabling.co.za/hdmi-cab...-extend-hdmi-signal-up-to-30-meters-p-78.html

Did you get the cable? If so any difference?

Got a 1.5m cable. I must say, its much thicker than my previous cable. Same problem though. I watched Fantastic 4 last night which got a very good review for HD Video Quality but I was still not amazed.

The only thing to do now is to test my PS3 on another LCD and another PS3 on my LCD.

The Labgear cables at Space TV is definitely the best quality you will get for that price. Even the 20m cables never have any issues.
