Grrrrrr! Head Office is getting on my nerves, maybe am wrong, perhaps it's a guy thing, am I just too Lazy? Winter is here, and when I awake in the cold Namibian mornings, for the first hour of the morn, I have a wee bit of a runny nose, not the heavy fluid, just the light stuff, so it's easy just to have a light stiff whilst I am busy doing things..... Much to Head Offices disgust...... "Stop That, get a tissue!".... I don't see the issue, am I wrong? is She right?

Snifffffff!

I've got an almost constant sniff but I do have a tissue with me and I blow my nose... a lot. I'm not sure if it's more socially acceptable but I can't stand the incessant running nose feeling.

She's 100% right. People who sit there sniffing all day are revolting.

I agree. The only thing more annoying than constant sniffing is the sound of wet eating. Get a tissue or a nasal spray or some kind of mucus dryer upper (official term). It'll save you both a lot of unnecessary grief and irritation.

The potjie pot clanging makes perfect sense now. Keep it at your bedside...and get a damn tissue! :p

I have some serious issues with the sounds people make. I know i am over sensitive, but I cant help it.
Everything from noisy eating to tea slurping, smacking of lips, sniffing, humming...it all drives me crazy. Oddly, sniffing is probably at the bottom of the list, with noisy eating being so high up on the list, i cannot go to the cinema because of people rustling their food packets and eating their popcorn

Hahaha, I feel your pain. People chewing noisily or with their mouth open kills me. Sniffing is a real bugbear of mine though.
There is the sniff sniff sniff that people do and then there is the grating rasping hacking of phlegm version. Both are annoying but the hacking one is annoying and disgusting at the same time.

What's wrong with that? Don't most healthy lads have a good stiff in the morn?

Ja!Ja! Okay, it was a spelling mistake....... stiff----> sniff......
