Back in the day, when we first met, Head Office and I both enjoyed loud(ish) music....
As the years rolled on, I became obviously deafer and continued to listen to loud music....
She did not...

Now I like to cook, braai and make a fire.... With music to acompany me.... As I am usually on my ace,

This morning, I fired up the slow cooker before heading off to work, whilst getting creative, I played a bit of music.... Only to get the look once again, does the music have to be so loud?

This has happened on numerous occassions...

Well today, I bought me a nice wireless bluetooth headphone.... Ten hours playing time, ten metre range..... Thought I was being clever.....

When I showed them to HO, I get told, " I don't see the point of them!"

After I explained that I could listen to loud music without disurbing anyone, I get told.... "Oh! So now you want to be cut off from us now?, be in your own world?"

Grrrrrrrr! And there I thought I was doing a good thing!

I suppose I could always get up at midnight when everyone else is asleep, open a few ales, put on my Headphones and have my own party!

Poor HO, she wants your company. Doesn't like the idea of you being isolated in your own little world. Spend time with her and make her happy

Those headphones really do cut you off from your surroundings.

Worth every friggin cent.... Friday night, the Moose Mob gone to slumber, save for middlemoose who is watching some dark comedy.... I got out of bed, armed with me ipad and headphones, sitting at the wooden kitchen table in the smothering darkness, three candles flickering their shadows across the varnished surface.... Sitting listening to Knockin' on Heavens door...LOUD! Whilst I start into the weekend beers..... Pen and paper before me, as I plot out the building plans for minorMoose's request for me to build him a jungle gym..... So yep, speakers paying their way already.......
