While the country is unlikely to avert a fourth wave of Covid-19 infections, a higher vaccination rate over the next month could substantially reduce its impact, says health minister Dr Joe Phaahla.

What happens to the career of epidemiologists if they are wrong yet again? I've actually got news clippings saying the fourth wave would start as soon as November. I guess there are still 3.5 weeks left so they could still be right but nothing is pointing to that.

My newspaper clippings state that the fourth wave is coming in December, like a thief in the night:
Somewhere between midnight and 4AM.
(Coincidentally, those are the hours when the virus is at its most vicious!)
