Not that close in terms of weather reports. When listening to them on radio, for example, I've often wondered at the temperature differences between locales that are much closer together than CT vs Stellenbosch, for example. I would have thought it would be pretty consistent within limited geographical areas.

Malmesbury, Wellington? Those places and its surroundings are hotter than Paarl, and Worcester on the other side is also usually a depressive heatsink. This is ignoring the Western Cape's areas in the Karoo.

That place, they should change the name to Hellington. There the sun stops and doesn't move during the day.

Strangely, you get used to it after some time. Now, I feel like I wouldn't be able to handle that kind of heat anymore.
 
An extremely strong South Easterly wind has brought cooler temperatures to Cape Town today (Fri 17th), and O don't forsee many people swimming right now.

I saw a branch come off a tree while out walking earlier.

The Table Mountain Cableway is closed, with wind gusts exceeding 100km/h.

That played from my phone, my phone has one some love songs (for when you want to set the mood), some gospel and a crap load of kids songs (or songs they like, like fckng shotgun). Including baby shark. It's easier to have stuff on there that they like otherwise they will just nag about my old school playlist.

I actually thought about downloading a judy Boucher song for the next temperature pic I take, just for @Ninja'd , but I don't think his heart will be able to take it.
