There will be some rain tomorrow (Sat 18th), from a moderate intensity cutoff low (Black South Easter). Mostly to the east of Cape Town (Overberg and Garden Route), and some to the north (Swartland and Boland). Not so much for CT itself.

Persistent strong winds, and sharply cooler temperatures:

Gale force wind tears off roofs, uproots tree in Cape Town

A roof has been blown off a building in Bo-Kaap and another from a property in Gardens. A tree was uprooted in Rylands.
