Anyone watched carte blanche last night.

I cant imagine what it must take to drive at that speed... blind. Of course an AMG black series will help, but hell it must take a lot of guts .;)
Well done Hein!

Well done Hein!

I got to 300 give or take a few on my CBR. (GPS showed 302) But it was limited on the clock at 299. It's a scary speed to be doing no matter what your riding/driving. And for a blind guy it must be so much more unsetteling.

Just to indicate how fast 300 km/h is.

If a car on the highway is driving at 160 km/h and you are doing 300 it's like riding past a stationary car at 140 km/h. The speed at which you aproach cars is so quick there is no time to make even the slightest error in judgement.

I would not advise anyone on ever trying those speeds. It's scary as hell and makes even the hardest of bikers stop and get rid of the shakes+adrenaline first before going on with their journey.

I've gone close to my cars limiter in 6th gear -and its not 300km/h - and that was scary enough - imagine the passenger

I did 140 once without realising

Oh yes, and I did about 200km/h once without the assistance of a bike or car... I just jumped out the plane! ;)

I did 200kph on Saturday...felt "normal" in my 147, but have to say lots of things go through your mind at that time, like tyres bursting, potholes, etc.

Did 220kph in me dad's 156 V6 (yes they go that fast) and that felt normal as well...until the nose started lifting when going through dips, I advised him to get some susp like Eibach or H&R. But on a bike I'm sure its way more hectic!

Yes, Hein's trainer (passenger) must have a pair of steel balls. The car's not in his 'direct' control + he sees whats happening, while Hein ony 'feels' it. When Derek interviewed him after a few test runs, Hein was literally shaking

In my younger days I drove like a maniac .... but now I have seen the error in my ways ...

It is freaking scary to misjudge things doing in excess of 200kph ....

I now have an organic/mechanical limiter in my car (my wife seated next to me ... she klaps me each time I go over 150kph) :D
