Anyone out there have the exact figure for the number of South Africans thst will be playing in the Heineken Cup Final this year? Including the Namibian Jacques Burger.... It will be interesting to see what percentage of the 30 are from SA..

I see the game is on about the same time as Stormers vs Cheetahs, guess I shall be recording the Super Duel in Favour of the final...... I think that there is going to be an electric atmosphere, any particular reason why Cardiff was chosen over Twickenham?

Players born in 14 different countries will feature in this final but there is no question which part of the world holds the balance of power - and it's not England or France.

Yes, you guessed it, it's South Africa. Toulon have a vast array of former Springboks. Bryan Habana, Bakkies Botha, Danie Rossouw, Juan Smith, Craig Burden and Michael Claassens. Last year they had Joe van Niekerk as well.

And Saracens have their fair share too. Brad Barritt, Matt Stevens and Mouritz Botha may be England internationals but their formative years were honed on the Highveld.

Hooker Schalk Brits, lock Alastair Hargreaves and scrum-half Neil de Kock are also from the land of the Bok, not to mention Ernst Joubert, Justin Melck and Petrus du Plessis, who are Sarries regulars but won't be playing any part in today's proceedings. And lest we forget Namibia’s finest - the lunatic (in the nicest possible way) that is Jacques Burger.

Huh? Matt and Brad's formative years were not on the Highveld at all...

Argh, these commentators bitching about hard tackles. It's just tedious. Bakkies takes a massive hit from a perfectly legal tackle and they're bitching about the bind in the tackle...

Strictly speaking it was not a legal tackle as Bakkies was still on the ground.
