I saw this earlier and I am happy that she may return. I only hope that when she engage with the public that it would be through practising proper policy than having Twitter debates.

She can use her new, /cough, Renaldo show, Tea with Helen, or whatever it is called, to engage with people who are representative.

Zille will do good at chairing the Federal Council.

Selfe was always behind-the-scenes as federal chair. Can Zille be behind-the-scenes? Isn't she gonna serve up her special brand of hysteria the minute she gets a whiff of self-pity from some poor mayor or councillor?

Mmusi should resign if she's elected. The federal council have been the power during his tenure yet he takes all the heat. Plus Zille's defense of that IRR guy who was punting Winde bodes ill for any future relationship.

Her going back to the DA leadership will not help the DA.

Step 1: Alienate conservatives with liberal rhetoric

Step 2: Possibly alienate liberals the DA have been pandering lately to with the return of Zille

Ja. I'm not big on her making a comeback to come and safe the DA. It paints a very poor picture about everyone else in the DA. As much as they need someone like Zille do they truly have no one else?

Zille maybe white but she is acting like a typical African political leader

It was never going to work, educating a black voter to accept that what is done is done and we are all equal now and must look towards the future?

But good luck to Zille, let's see how the voter education goes, I prefer the education of acknowledging the elephant in the room and looking at ways to get rid of it instead of pretending like it doesn't exist.

Good luck with that I say, she's already shown black people exactly what kind of person she is via her twitter rants.

AND
YOU *KNOW* this to be an immutable truth -- for ALL time ?
How ..... ?

To be quite blunt -- it appears this majority ALSO did NOT support Maimane......
I wonder WHAT this tells us ?

FORGO ALL HOPE YEA WHO ENTER HERE ..........
