I am in a guild with mostly australians, (silver hand server US), and their pings are about the same as ours, around 600ms.

Strangely, phantizm, the average latency to the EU servers from here is about 500-750ms, quite playable, and based on the numbers of players from SA, very popular too.
Enjoy sunny Australia, which is, of course, a great country. Unfortunately, its full of Australians. There's always a catch.

I've noticed that for the past 6 weeks or so, the latency during the day has been extraordinarily terrible (constant 950 - 1700ms). This problem's affecting approximately 90% of the South Africans playing on EU servers that i know. The other 10% are using unshaped accounts They seem to have no problem at all. Latency rockets to 500ms at most during the day, at night its around 250 - 450ms.

Yes, killswitch, i've noticed the bad latency during workdays for the last few weeks, though it seems to have been sorted now.

I have pretty good latency. 300 to 450 on EU realms. Some people in my guild complained about 3000 latency from Sweden for a day or 2. Someone in the UK had a problem for few days as well. Ive only had 1 spike to 2000ms for about 3minutes in last 2 weeks.
