I found this article in the Cape Argus, it would be nice if an MTN rep could contact her and offer to demonstrate an MTN data card and show her she doesn't need Telkom.

Durbanville's not too far from me, I hereby offer my services to do the demonstration.

We had a similar situation with Telkom ... A-Holes ...

We call up Telkom for an ADSL line ... no probs is what i hear ... Nobody comes around for 4 months ... i got tired of calling after month 3 ... then we get a call threatening to cut our line ( which was never installed ) cos we havent made payment.

i of course had to have some fun with it ... Send a techie out to fix my line i said then i will pay my account ...

You probably still can (on her mobile, at least), it's only been two weeks and I'm sure Telkom haven't done anything yet. It would be good PR for MTN!

I think the data card is perfect for people who just want to do a bit of surfing and email during the day.
