now my problem is this ...
asus-314704465:/usr/bin> rfcomm connect 00:1F:00:46:E0:E3
Can't connect RFCOMM socket: Operation now in progress

As soon as I execute the command my cellphone prompts me for the pass key to pair with my eee-pc, when I type in the default "1234" pass key that I have specified in my /etc/bluetooth/hcid.conf my phone attempts to pair for a few seconds and then says "Pairing Failed" and then it shows "Can't connect RFCOMM socket: Operation now in progress" in my console.

Any idea why my phone and eee won't pair?

Installed eeeXubuntu and my bluetooth worked perfectly without a hassle.
(If anyone cares)

Whichh EEEPC do you have? I've been thinking of installing eeeXubuntu on mine :p

How much space did it take up, and leave you with?

I have the black 4gig one. I'm using just over half the available space but I've added some extra packages. I also have a 4gig sd card which I leave permanently in and mounted as my /home. eeeXubuntu is very nice except the webcam does not seem to work out of the box but I don't think I'll be using that too often anyways.
