Help me out! USB DC 5V to DC 9V , Center Negative, 1200 mA Output min.

This ups comes with a switchable 9V/12V output.

You still need to make your own cable to swap the polarity.

You need something with a dedicated 9V output. This battery bank will switch to 9V only when the chip in the connected device requests it.

Thanks for this!

Thanks for your input @PowerFactor . I'm taking a step back and downscaling the Boss GX-100 to a Boss GX-10 which only needs 600 mA instead of a 1200 mA which was not going to be very practical. This will also leave some room to add some additional pedals I have.

Now it would be nice if I can find something in a smaller form factor with similar output to the Gizzu you linked above to power the GX-10. the ZMI powerbank size would be nice.

It has max 800mA. I need 1200mA
Sorry I breezed over and didn't notice that 2.1A was the input current but to be fair your device probably will never use the full 1200mA and 800mA will be just fine.
It doesn't show the polarity but 99% of the time will be for router and laptops etc. and not center negative (which is typical for guitar pedals and amps). Don't see anything on the output capacity, unless this doesn't matter with USB C as long as the power bank can produce enough?
You can easily make a polarity switching patch cable to convert the polarity for any of these power supplies.
I’d try find a decent USB-C to 9V cable, it'll easily be rated for the 9V 11W you need, USB-C PD can supply over 100W

Im not sure how to do this and last thing I want to do is damage equipment
You literally just make a Dc patch cable 10cm long female to male with the polarity inverted at one side, dead easy. I made one for my Boss pedals to be able to use normal 9v power supplies and these USB 9v cables

So something like this should be okay ?

I think that will work. Just make sure about the barrel and pin size. They are not all the same size

That looks spot on just double check the polarity once connected up before first use

An alternate solution is to use a buck / boost converter. They're quite cheap. You basically connect your DC source (battery etc) rated between 5-30v & 2amp or higher, adjust the potentiometer to set the output to 9v and connect your barrel jack cable to the output terminals.

Was going to suggest he needs this.

I almost posted this video the other day, but this is more for someone who wants to struggle.

Yeah to be honest there needs to be as little as possible components. In the end just have one single simple and compact fitting made sense and less chance for something to be troubleshoot. Will probably get a second one as backup.

But yeah, I want to get into doing some simple patch cables and connectors and so on. Need to find my soldering iron

Where can you order those little PPS boards?
I would love a USB-C powered variable power supply.
