Help! Need phone for elderly person that struggle with Smart Phone

Technology do not worry about the elderly. We have given up on trying to teach my 80 year old mother to use a Samsung Smart Phone. She used a Nokia Numeric Keypad all her life and just can not get to grips with the Smart Phone. Problem is that she got used to Whatsapp but I could only find two phones with Numeric Keypad that can use Whatsapp. However, also remember something about a message that it will soon not work on these older phones anymore. The two models that I could findis the Nokia C5 and the Nokia 206. The Nokia 206 worked ok, but it gets full quickly with Whatsapp and just freezes up.

Any suggestions or help from someone out their that found a solution for their elderly parents, will be highly appreciated.

No real suggestions here, just a confirmation that nokia wont be supported for much longer.

The best you're gonna do is get a Windows phone. The UI is easily tailorable to exactly what you want.

Here's a screenie of a customised Start screen that any old person can work with:

Does her new phone have an "easy mode" in the settings? My S4 / S5 and now S6 have it. Not sure if other models do. In Easy Mode many of the unnecessary options are disabled. And as far as I can remember it makes the numbers bigger etc. Think its meant for elderly or young'ns.
