Help needed with setting up projector/movie outdoor setup

Good day
I've got an area perfect for outdoor movies, and want to look at a decent projector - something i can hook up to dstv for sport, and also use for movies when we want to watch outside.
What should i look for, what is a decent middle of the road price for a projector?
Can i diy or do i need someone to help with installation. If so, any suggestions that wont break the bank?
