Ok guys I need some advice please.

I currently have a 384 shapped adsl account that is getting changed to unshapped this weekend. My lat is normally around 800ms, but some times drops as low as 480ms for a few brief seconds, although not often. Last night however was the worst I have had it, with my lat sitting at 3500ms -6000ms  while I was in ZG. I assume this is because it is the end of month and everyone is trying to use up the last bit of cap that does not roll over.

So hopefully changing to upshaped will help quite a bit right? If not what options are available to me, short of moving overseas or running my own international undersea link. (P.S. If I ever make like a billion rand or so, I will do that for the SA wow community :D )

I know there are various proxys and low ping vpns and such services around, but I don't want to shell out another R150 -R200 over ADLS, ISP, Game fees etc and find that these don't work or make much difference. Another point to mention is that there are sometimes two of us playing WoW at the same time of different machines ofc on the same connection and possibly even 3 if my flat mate takes the bait.

I know my lat issues are not pc related as I have a nice machine with plenty of ram and was getting 42ms when I used the same set-up in the UK.

For those that care, pc specs : AMD 64 3200+, 2GB Ram, 120GB Serial ATA, Creative Audigy 4 and GeForce 6600GT
