Sign up with GoogleHas anyone managed to do video streaming on MTN's network?. I am having the following problem:
- Send the URL of a standards-compliant RTSP/RTP stream (via SMS) to the cellphone (e.grtsp://streaming-02.nellymoser.com:554/sonyconnect/pro/ConnectMobile/video/EDGE/THEFRAY_OVERMYHEAD(CABLECAR).3gp)
- Click on the link in order to play it with the phone's media player.
- A screen says "Connecting to server", then "Connected to Server"
- after the "Connected" message the playback window comes up, but no audio or video is received by the phone.
I have tried to do video streaming on a couple of handsets but I am having the same problem that video does not play back. Is MTN blocking any ports?
