Help sharing hotspot with modem router

Hi. I was wondering if there is any way to share my phones hotspot data connection with a tp link modem router so that I can connect my android smart box to the Ethernet port? The Wi-Fi on the smart box has stopped working.

Most user-friendly way to do it is via one of these Range extenders. Mweb used to give them away for free during their Fon router promo a few years ago.

The range extender would connect to your Phone's WiFi hotspot, then it would share the WiFi connection to the device connected to the Range extender's ethernet port.

Used to use this set up years ago and it worked 100%.
