Can someone please help me with this antenna. The best I could get it setup was pointing half way over my roof (pole isn't long enough) and I got amazing speeds of 42mb down and 5mb up. 3 Days ago (funny how it was went my contract was off its cooloff period) it went for a ball of chalk. Now after moving it extensively again I get the following

The SINR and RPRP according to what I read is in the good zones. I have 4 bars of signal and for some reason no mater which way I turn the antenna I cant get more than 7-8mb down now.

Can someone please help?

SINR is way too low? Just confirm with someone who knows their stuff about LTE but I am almost certain the SINR you have is awful.

On SINR: 5 and RPRP:-94 I used to get 42mb... Now with better signal I'm getting less? I'm not understanding this LTE signal stuff

Maybe check your connections just unplug all and replug them in.

It could be that the tower you are connecting to has been "upgraded" with 1800 MHz LTE radios and the modem is selecting the better/stronger signal of the two frequencies (1800 Mhz vs 2300 Mhz). Reading on the forum it would seem that the TM 1800 MHz LTE allocation has less bandwidth than the 2300 MHz allocation, hence more congested. This might be explain the better signal and poor throughput...

As far as I know, there is no option (yet) in the modem configuration that will force it to use a specific frequency.

I had the same issue, especially after the firmware upgrade. I had very good stats, but speeds were only capped at 9mbps. I did a factory reset and was lucky enough to point my antenna to a sector that only supports 2300MHz only. Now i get very speeds with very poor stats.
