So I finally bit the bullet this weekend and installed Fedora. Last week, for the second time in about as many months, my XP machine crapped out and got stuck in a boot loop, which ended in another re-install. After this first happened I'd begun investigating linux as I was fed up with M$, and quite liked Fedora (couldn't get Ubuntu livecd to even boot).

So now I've installed Fedora alongside Xp. Problem is that the grub boot loader works fine booting into Fedora, but selecting XP just goes to a blank screen and nothing happens. I'm hoping this is a line or two in a config file to change but I don't know where to look - I found a grub cfg file but it says not to edit it.

Any ideas? If I re-install XP (again) would it help?

That command didn't work. I've been reading how-tos and whatnot and saw about the fdisk command - when I run fdisk -l it doesn't look like what it's meant to... I think maybe I buggered up the partitions :erm:

I had trouble with anaconda during fedora install, and ended up using gparted to partition manually. It was a 160gb drive, and I split it 60gb Windows, the rest for linux.

This is the fdisk -l output:
