Help understanding tracerts - MWEB local+international

Hi guys,

So a friend of mine is having strange issues with his VDSL account.

Random latency issues and low speeds on MWEB. They keep telling him its not them, and its Telkoms issue, exchange congestion, Seacom's having issues etc etc.

I told him to try my Vox fatpipe account and speeds and latency improve almost to normal, he still had strange tracerts so its not all free sailing.

Please see attached tracerts, all on mweb. Sorry he send me pics and didn't copy from the terminal. I can't be bothered to ask him to redo them.

Tell your friend to get a new ISP... its them... old news... been there, done that, got the t-shirt... ditched them like a venereal disease

Agreed - had exactly the same problem with MWEB and after 6 weeks of testing almost daily all I got was that its with their specialist network engineers - no phonecall or anything.

On VOX now and its 100% better
