Hi Guys

My setup is as follows.
2 x EnGenius ECB 3220 AP’s, approx 10 – 15 metres apart. AP 1 is located in a closed cupboard in a building, approx 0,5m from the ground.
AP 2 is outside the building, mounted on a pillar, approx 2m from ground level with 2 wireless devices connecting thru it to Ap and then to a pc on the lan. The devices are intermittently complaining that they are not connected to the network. A scan with Netstumbler revealed quite a lot of wireless activity in the area using the same channel i.e 1. I then switched my devices (SSID-2HMM)to channel 3only to yield the same results.
I have attached my ns1 log in the hope that your trained “eyes” spot something that I am unaware/unknowledgable of.

Thanks in anticipation.

Histogram of channel usage.
Clearly you should change channel to 3.

" I then switched my devices (SSID-2HMM)to channel 3 only to yield the same results."

This I have done, to no avail :( Still the wlan keeps dropping intermittently

Keep in mind that there are other devices that use 2.4Ghz that won't show up in a NetStumbler scan, such as wireless video senders and baby monitors.

I've got a wireless video sender at home that is so noisy on 2.4Ghz, I cant use a laptop in the lounge at all, it completely destroys 802.11b/g on all channels.
