Help with News server

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to use Grabit to get some stuff from the IS news server. I have never before used a news server to download stuff. A while ago, there was a thread on how to download from a news server, and there someone mentioned to use Grabit. I went to newzleech, got a nbz file, and imported it into Grabit. Grabit was hectically busy downloading, untill all the lines in the batch were done, but when I go to the Download folder , the rar file is not there. Seems like everything it downloaded is now lying in the cache folder, split up over a like 50 files or so.

Now, what I am trying to find out is: How to I stitch these files back together again? They dont have any extension, just odd names like 3002321. When I look at the content, you can see it has a header that shows this is part 8 of 22 etc.

Any ideas, please?

i rather use newsbin instead of grabit. Found that its much faster for some reason.

I am used to sentech speeds, so getting 30KB/s down on a 512 line is totally SWEET for me. Are some of you guys not getting anything down?

I get a nice and chunky 400kb/s download speed.

When the IS news servers are actually working :/

what program you using Kasyx? i also have 4mbps but i cant get anywgere close to that....
