Helpdesk ... Sad day

Wow ... And to think I used to complain about Sintech's Helldesk...

28 minutes on hold before my call is answered.

3 minutes to explain my problem ... repeatedly

3 minutes on hold while everyone chats in the background to agree on a answer to give me ....

Then they give me an aswer that I know for a FACT is total BS ...

If it wasn't for the fact that I needed a problem resolved to bring me income & that the call probably cost me R 62.00 on my mobile I'd have laughed .....

It's a sad day indeed when I support Telkom ... but that is around the corner...(Actually 2 wifi links away ....*here's to hoping*)

Was it by any chance "change your MTU"...? :rolleyes:

Not having had any experience with Sentech's helpdesk, I could be wrong in saying that IMO WBS is even worse...

Sentech:

+ Shorter hold times
+ Gave a ticket reference

- Also gave the same "solutions" over and over
- Took forever to phone back

The Solution would be to use : VOIP for free to call WBS, then that would rock once WBS install VOIP (Voice Dialing ) software on there base station.

I will rather have an ISP that I don't have to call, because my connection is flawlessly running 100% of the time :) so far my ADSL line has been running for almost 3 weeks without a hitch, so for reliability (so far) telkom/axxess both get thumbs up ...

the only time i had to b1tch about my adsl line was when I wanted it upgraded and they dragged their feet... apparently it's upgraded now (will check when I get home)

downtime = 0 in the last month I've had it.

I don't bother phone up Cr@p HelpDesk anymore. i just give up on spending time and money paying it off to call them and been on hold...

Thats true i agree with you on ISP giving so much troubles move someonewhere else
