I believe the problem is much bigger than John Loos thinks it is , with the theft of electricity and the price going up , very soon we will not be in a position to pay the price asked for electricity and more and more people will go solar and more and more people will steal electricity , things on the electricity front do not look good in the very near future . Escoms dept is just mind blowing,we are in deep shyt .

The dream: A solar setup to produce 20kwh daily for the house and then the clincher: additionally be able to charge an electric car from near empty to full every day. This must be done overnight, from batteries charged during the day....

Not sure I have enough roof space though...

A mate works for them. Gets a call as to why an invoice for 80k hasnt been paid. Makes a call to a local hardware store and the same products could be supplied for 4k. A "preferred" supplier is trying to take them for a 76k ride. And thats just one invoice from one supplier. He rejects the payment, it later gets approved by someone else and thats how u accumulate 400bn debt over a number of years if you're eskom.
