Here’s how much South Africa’s population would change if everyone who wanted to leave actually did

[*]White South Africans are leaving the country;
[*]Emigration is accelerating;
[*]Those who are leaving are wealthy, and taking that wealth with them;
[*]Those who are leaving are well educated and take their skills with them.
What did the ANC think would happen when....

1. You introduce AA to prevent skilled and experienced white people from being appointed into positions.
2. You introduce BEE to prevent skilled and experienced white owned businesses from participating in the economy.
3. You exclude white people from all economical growth initiatives in the name of 'correcting the past'.
4. You make white people out to be the villains in this country.
5. You allow radical groups to call for massacre and slaughter of white people.
6. You promote white hatred among other races.

Naturally the white people with the abilities to leave the country will do so.

I wouldn't assume that the desire and means to leave is the exclusive province of whites.

No, it definitely is not. I know that a large number of black, coloured and indian people too did make the move out of the country. But, currently it is predominantly white people making the move and unfortunately with it most of of all the skills, knowledge and experience to manage the private sector and growing the economy. More so, a lot of money this government needs to run the country and feed their greed. What we are currently left with in SA is not merely enough to even sustain a lifestyle.

Are you saying that white people have most of the skills, knowledge and experience?

That is what he is definitely saying, but I've noticed a few new posters on the forum who seem to be clones of previously banned individuals who are spouting similar nonsense again.

No, I am not saying they have the most skills, but those leaving are indeed the ex-Eskom staff who kept the utility running back then. They are the ones who ran Sasol back then. They are the ones who launched and grew banks. They are the ones who started and grew successful chain stores back in the day. They are the ones who built and maintained critical water infrastructures. They are doctors and specialists who ran hospitals.

Am I saying we do not have the required skills to replace these people? Yes, that is exactly what I am saying. The proof is in the pudding. It is in front of us and we cannot hide from it.

Would it be so offensive to say yes?

White people had the best access to schooling and education in the apartheid years, and even after apartheid, the legacy of broken infrastructure and generational wealth meant that more white people can attend relatively good primary and high schools and go on to attend university.

So yes, white people do hold most of the skills and experience, and it is not racist to say so. It would be racist to say that black people are incapable of acquiring the skills and experience given the time and resources.

Maybe the people that are educated are not being given the opportunity to grow the skill set and experience. That is the pudding that we are eating from.

Would it be so offensive to say yes?

Not at all.

Do you not think that maybe that is the intention, to drive people out of the country through well thought out methods i.e. BEE, AA, EWC etc.

What makes you think that the ruling party actually cares who leaves or even that they haven't planned it?

A lot of those people are near retirement if not already retired. The problem is not them leaving but the skills transfer that did not happen.

I think that they do care, because they are trying to get people to pay tax back to SA when in another country, or am I wrong? I am basing this on FATCA as well.

Maybe thats just to keep the trough full while they getting the new contributors fully "onboarded"
