IS was cut of yesterday due to faluire of three diffrent international links, since Sentech uses them for a large part of their bandwidth this would explain the problems experienced in the last couple of days.

Mmmm I do agree but IS mailed me at least two times explaining the problem and apologising. Maybe Sen*** should have mailed me aswell or even just forwareded the IS mail. But then again for them it is just an ongoing fu**up.

Sentech a perfect example of: “When great ideas go terrible wrong!”

What has outsourcing got to do with it? Sentech's inability to communicate properly with it's customers goes way beyond just an outsourcing problem, otherwise we would have seen at least some improvement after over three months. Many companies successfully outsource things, other companies outsource and fail, the problem is not outsourcing, the problem is bad management. Companies do have some control over their subcontractors, or find a way around if necessary.
