Here is where Sygnia's CEO Magda Wierzycka is investing her money

Sygnia co-founder and CEO Magda Wierzycka has revealed her personal investment strategy, which is heavily skewed towards international tech stocks and innovation.

Wierzycka voiced her preference for passively managed index-tracking funds in a post commenting on an article related to active fund managers’ pain.

She said she is no longer interested in the apologies and excuses from active and hedge fund managers about their performance.

Am I the only one who questions why we have so many articles concerning the thoughts and investing habits of a single person? I'm sure she is a great person and all, but it's kinda strange how a website about technology news does this type of borderline free advertising campaigns

“I hate local equities, but if I had to invest in them, I would invest in the top 40” says CEO of South African medium cap company.

Article should have been labelled as "Partner content" since it's an advert for Sygnia.

Two of the 4 are ETF's similar to what Satrix does, the other two look like actively managed funds that are offshore.

Are you... are being serious or taking a piss?

Magda investing in Satrix is like the late Allan Gray investing with Old Mutual.

I sometimes forget that the internet is for serious business only and sarcasm should be kept to a very basic level as not to confuse its inhabitants.

Sygnia is hosting a webinar on Thursday regarding their "Sygnia Health Innovation Global Equity Fund".

A bit late for invites, but contact cleetjer@sygnia.co.za

Seeing Sygnia are hosting the webinar and also supply the info, why should they not use the platform to advertise their services?

I've been using various unit trusts since my first investment in 1968 and Sygnia has performed outstandingly since their inception in 2003, far more consistently than anyone else

The performance of her funds are quite impressive, at least compared to my financial advisor

Well, some of the sygnia funds. If your financial advisor invested in these, that would be equally disastrous. For now.
Sygnia Divi Index Fund
Sygnia Swix Index Fund
Sygnia Top 40 Index Fund
Sygnia Listed Property Index Fund
Sygnia Equity Fund
Sygnia Active Equity Fund
Sygnia Growth Equity Fund
