i saw the bill available for commenting on dearsouthafrica regarding the 24/7 surveilance of neighbourhoods and cities.
They want us to comment yet Vumatel is already begun installations of their Security Camera Towers, Which double up as??? Guess ? 5G towers with the ability to transmit and receive information.. which instead of having to place 5g towers every 150m apart which people would be up in arms about lamp posts in 2016 already were being constructed with the ability to become wifi receivers and transmitters.
Does this not raise the hair on the back of your necks?
Comments will be presented to local government as evidence of public participation in the decision-making process" ive hightlighted this in bold because i wanna compare it later remember this
Have your Say on a connected CCTV Network Surveillance of Neighborhoods and Cities 24/7 Connected networks help drive smarter, closer collaboration between communities, and independent security companies from different areas to secure the streets where South Africans live, work and play.
Community engagement and understanding around how

"GOVERNMENT NEEDS PUBLIC TO OPT IN,IN ORDER FOR A SAFER COMMUNITY the fine print is you will have to sacrifice some privacy and freedom..
If you read post on Alphabet Inc ie Google buying 6% $450 mil of ADT shares in order to get right into the homes of people..., now you have Vumacam coming to "offer" their 24/7 complete surveillance system, strangely enough not even DearSouthAfrica mentions the A.i capability..... strange.... BUT
Mybroadband does mention ADTs use of their system,

License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras - which are connected to security control rooms via Vuma’s fibre network
Vumacam's flag unusual behaviour *so it can distinguish behaviour | majority of the Overview cameras use AI-based behavioural analytics software called iSentry
cameras can flag vehicle accidents and locations and send alerts to law enforcement to assist | can also be used to alert authorities of instances of illegal dumping, or damage to infrastructure such as water leaks, potholes, vandalism, and cable theft, as well as dangerous objects obstructing roads.
Vumacam has enjoyed positive responses from security companies, including Fidelity ADT. ** remember by post on ADT & Googles partnership, all hardware will be googles architecture.... **
“Crime is a concern for all South Africans and this solution adds an additional layer to the security ecosystem and allows for more efficient monitoring and optimal response protocols,” says Fidelity Services Group CEO Wahl Bartmann
Hotspot Areas
Vumacam said its cameras have been most successful in combatting crime in the Johannesburg CBD, followed by Glenvista CPF in Johannesburg South.
Vumacam has been Live in Sandton which went Live during the 1st Phase of Lockdown *
DOES THAT NOT SEEM A BIT OTP for supposedly simple 24/7 surveillance...?
WHO WILL HAVE ACCESS?
Law enforcement will have access to feed on submission of a case number or upon court order. Please note - The dissemination of the footage recorded by Vumacam on its Smart Camera Network falls within the definition of ‘processing’ in terms of POPIA (see section 1 of POPIA).
What is the POPI Act? *brace yourselves*
POPI regulates the “processing” of personal information. This definition is broad. It covers, amongst other things, the collection, receipt, recording, organisation, collation, use, and dissemination of information.
This does not mean that CCTV surveillance is unlawful or prohibited.
However, it does mean that – once the operative provisions of POPI are in force –
Vumacam must comply with the provisions of POPI.
The POPI Act refers to South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act and aims to balance ourright to the free flow of information and our right to privacy. In other words, POPI regulateswha...

What is the Vumacam Milestone Video Management System?
the short version other than the link
http://ow.ly/vXKz50BVjEf
VMS, provides the platform to efficiently manage video from recording, storage and viewing to cybersecurity and GDPR compliance. Typically, a VMS:
Collects video from cameras and "other sources"
Records/stores that video
Provides an interface to view the live video, and access recorded video
Milestone is a sophisticated programme that has a few key differentiating factors to it.
Damnit there is so much and i don't wanna make videos.... i'm not gonna beg anyone to read this and go comment NO we don't want the surveillance but if anything have a look at these links ..... especially
Vumacams now "Not So Secret Plan"
http://ow.ly/muDt50BVk35
The company has recently added Ekurhuleni to its rollout footprint and is looking to expand its network to Pretoria, Durban, and Cape Town.
What sets these camera poles apart from other poles like telephone poles is that they have electricity feeds and are connected to Vumatel’s fibre network.
This makes them suitable to serve as high-density mobile network sites to provide 5G and LTE coverage in the neighbourhoods where Vumacam has a presence.
It is, therefore, no surprise that Community Investment Ventures Holdings (CIVH), which owns Vumatel and DFA, is planning to monetize this asset.

With The Censorship Bill that will be coming into play and now the 24/7 security surveillance of neighbourhoods *which does NOT SAY ANYTHING about the protection of children being filmed or photographed, defeats their whole censor the internet to protect our kids act*

Social Credit ....think its not going to happen to us? how much debt are we in to China.? How much say does China really have? are we headed towards their social credit system.
China's social credit system isn't a world first but when it's complete it will be unique. The system isn't just as simple as everyone being given a score though

Government’s planned wireless open-access network (WOAN), which CIVH is keen to be involved in.
Vumatel and DFA specialise in open-access networks, and a wireless network built on the same principles, therefore, fits in perfectly with CIVH
What's Makes me think this is more about control than safety because the same thing is happening in the US, The PoPi act which is not yet active but will be soon enough,it is very much like the beginning of the social credit surveilance systems of China... and seriously why ask us to comment if Vumacam seems to be laying the groundwork already without peoples consent.
