Police officer explains how "Facebook rapist" smuggled dead body into cell

Bail hearings for five of the eight accused in the Thabo Bester saga continued for a second day on Friday. Police officer Tieho Jobo Flyman testified how a decoy body was smuggled into the Mangaung prison and how money changed hands before and after the escape.

In the dock were former Mangaung prison employees Senohe Matsoara, Monteyani Masukela, Tieho Makhotsa, Nastassja Jansen, along with Teboho Lipholo, a former employee of CCTV service provider Integritron Security Solutions.
 
They put bags of mielie pap in the dead guys coffin and had a funeral

Forgive me, didn't read article... but this was an already dead randomly selected body right? Or was that premeditated and was there murder involved

The dead guy was stolen from a morgue

The guy died of a heart attack it seems but one of the accused wardens involved in the affair did actually know the dead guy.

Probably money laundering for the well connected in government. That being said it appears him and the Dr made a fair whack of cash scamming people with their various sham companies.
