The little knowledge of physics I have tells me it's easier to predict trajectories in space than on an atmosphere with friction and changing weather patterns. I may be wrong though.
Theres gravitational pull from other asteroids moons and planets that all have to be accounted for
Like those spinny toy things, all calm and predictable while it’s spinning, as soon as you flick one off course they all go all over the place

There are signs our planet was hit in the past. The age of dinosaurs is postulated to have been ended by an asteroid. This shows the risk is there, remote as it is.
Anyone can do that, speculation postulation. Show me the proof.

Bloody scientists trying to learn things that could potentially save the human race from extinction, yeah what a waste...

Do you remember what Shoemaker-Levy 9 did to Jupiter when it impacted?
Yeah, it was responsible for the extinction of a whole colony of sentient beings, all twenty four of them.

Can't you think of a more compelling argument? Is it so difficult?

Of course...but how significant is it?

An argument more compelling than possibly being able to avert an extinction level event...?

Yeah yeah, more speculation "According to Seinfield's tits" doesn't cut it for me.
Post some proper evidence or shut up.
Some have visible craters. Even mineral composition and other geological features are obvious in larger sites.

OK, you do that then. You sound like a prepper, yet I don't know any leftist preppers...
