I cannot convince you otherwise. It's not my field. There are resources at your disposal if you're really interested. Various space agencies do take questions sometimes. You can even head to the nearest university such as Wits if you're curious.

However, if you want to just dismiss this as fake without any valid counterargument... your choice.

Shifting the orbit by 4% is a significant amount really...

Thinking the Armageddon type scenario, a 4% shift in orbit would be more than enough for that object to miss Earth.

There is a reason for degraded video footage. They used the same technology that NASA used to fake moon landing. They probably just colored the footage.

NASA is a government entity, so they do have 35 year technology cycles really, have to sweat the asset as much as possible.
