Herotel reduces 75Mbps and 100Mbps prices, free upgrades for existing customers

Closed access as in you can't choose your own ISP? That's kinda...rubbish.
However if it makes the price cheaper then ok sure.
100mbps at R699 is not bad actually provided that Herotel actually offer a true uncapped, unshaped service?

Their must be a catch somewhere with that pricing. Currently paying R627 for a 30meg line with Afrihost. To get 150% more speed (75megs) for R599 seems to good to be true.

Any speeds or price adjustments in there near future @AfriNatic ?

No catch. Very happy with their service. I was also at Afrihost, but I moved to Herotel for fibre. I only had a 20 Mbps DSL line.

Posting a speed test means literally nothing as to whether it's truly uncapped and unshaped.
Can you download, let's say, 4TB every month without any issues? Do you get full speeds no matter what you're doing at all times of the day?
True, just showing you that I do receive the advertised speed.
I download a lot and I always get the same speed.

I have been with them for about 2 years now. 50mb package at R499.

Not a heavy downloader. Average between 1 -2tb per month. Always full speed when I dl something.

Also have a free Public Gamers IP due to a NAT issue I had on my sons Xbox.

Load shedding also blew the ONT once, they replaced it the same day. Free of charge

I still repeat the fact that their coverage map is vague is problem, why can't they provider colour shedding coverage map and their Afrikaans speak customer service agents are pure rude especially Klerkdorp agents
