And now Adobe.

Apple seems to be making amends.

They were the first company to drop Flash and made sure everyone knew it.

Adobe is obviously much more than flash. Many other platforms have dropped it. Has no effect on a 'relationship' with Adobe. Good products are good products, vendor is irrelevant.

iPad Pro looks impressive, but it's probably going to be high end, price wise, probably make the Surface Pro 3 look cheap.

Edit $799 starting price..cheaper than I thought.

We are going to have to take out a loan for this one, thanks to the weak Rand.

Yeah, seems like excellent value for those who need it.

I just can't understand why they keep placing the speakers at the back.

That is completely illogical when you sit in front of the device and it attenuates the sound to quite an extend.

Ever cupped your hands behind speakers? Notice the improvement because it's bouncing off your palms?

A sound engineer or somesuch needs to explain.

Yeah, that is called passive amplification.

It basically focuses the soundwaves towards you instead of sending it in the wrong direction. In that way more of the emitted energy reaches your ears.

Similar to beamforming in Wi-Fi.

Pretty sure it also improves the bass/mids of these tiny speakers...

It is because your hands are larger than the speakers themselves and create an acoustic chamber which acts like an 'amplifier' for various frequencies depending on how you shape your hands.

Yeah, so reverberating off something seems like the best option, especially for immersion.
