Hi guys, hope everyone is well.

Looking for some advice. I currently have the LG 55 NANO86,, it's pretty decent and has done a good job, having the PS5 hooked up to it. But I see the Hisense A8H is going for some decent prices now. In terms of features, it looks relatively the same (Minus WebOS and Magic Remote). But the OLED screen is looking very attractive to me. So, who recommends I make the switch?

IIRC in the early days there were issues getting PS5 colour and frames correct. Think the last time I read about it it was fixed? By using the right settings. Maybe start a new thread to ask PS5 users. Or maybe they’ll respond here.

people need to step away from blaming the OS and calling a TV bad

everyone knows the OS can be fixed using a media player

does the hisense stand up to what the OP wants

like @epah will sell you a C1 (without actually touching one) with his eyes closed
You know me too well.

Anyways to answer you question Op, If you want to get a good gaming TV then LG C1 is the one to go for...
No point connecting a High quality Sony PS to a Hisense. Buy an LG and have two quality products for the best user experience...

If you had an Xbox then sure you may plug that into a Hisense.

he owns none of these products mentioned

what price is the hisense going for?

on TAL, they are the same price, R19999, and then the choice is obvious

but I think that the TAL Hisense price is exaggerated.

This seems to be the "proper" price, R15K.

If 5K difference is a material amount to you, then go with the Hisense

If 5K is not a big difference, then go with the LG

:)

I'm getting the Hisense through my friends company, with a big discount. Going to be somewhere between R12.5k - R13k.
