Hi
A friend of mine was knocked off his motorbike on Grayston Drive in Sandton at about 8am on wednesday 14 August. The car did not stop. He has some pretty serious injuries.

If anyone saw anything that could help piece together what happened or identify the driver/car involved could you PM me please?

Thanks

Was just about to say not another one. Then I saw the date and time.

Hope he makes a full recovery, and hopefully there's a witness or two to be found.

I was not there....

What bike was it. Colour of the car?

Might make it easier for other's to recognise...

Then let them give more detail.

He does not recall the details of the car - he was quite badly concussed and has very little memory of the accident. He thinks the car was a volvo.

Obviously it depends where on Grayston, there might have been companies CCTV cameras that would have seen what happened, investigate that ASAP.

Luckily the fire station is close. There was a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Marlboro this morning, I phoned 011 375 5911 (was on the other side of the road). Was assisted proficiently with the call, answered in 1 ring. They were there in ~6 min.

So safe that number 011 375 5911 JHB people, you never know when it might be useful (I have it even though I am a PTA person).

Was between West and West road South. We are going to approach the companies there - thanks.

There are quite a number of companies around there (Investec, Old Mutual) as well as the high rise apartment building that must have some sort of outward-facing cameras. Hope that he makes a full recovery and good luck with the search!
