Nobody pats themselves on the back more than Hlaudi Motsoeneng. The former SABC COO has slammed a recent court judgement which ordered him to return more than R11 million he had received from the public broadcaster.

Motsoeneng reckons that should instead be lauded for his work at the SABC and not punished.

I wonder if he will be so cherpy in prison. In mates will love him long time.

I don't know at this point if this guy genuinely believes the things he says or if it's just an act.

If he genuinely believes the garbage he's spewing he needs to be committed.
I am very inclined towards the possibility that he could in fact believe that he is the greatest thing ever to happen to the SABC and society at large. How he rose through the ranks is a mystery, let alone alone all the way to being CEO, maybe all that made him to really start to believe that he is something special.

That we ever had such fools in responsible positions...

It is not the court's role to determine his performance at the SABC.
All the court concerns itself is if his compensation was legally determined and processed.

He isn't qualified to make an informed determination of his own performance.
And he wasn't even legally employed there. How can any compensation he received be legal then???

I think he does actually believe the tripe he spews...

Going to be funny as fsck when the SIU comes after the money and his assets directly, since he has been ordered by a court to pay it back.

He wasn't? Was there ever some court finding on that?

Yup, especially if the people he surrounds himself with don't contradict him about how great he is...

Clearly, he used the force on himself to believe he is the greatest person ever...
